No More Water For Washing Machines

Is the world changing for the better, because it is really changing? There are so many people out there looking for greener options and ways to save money which is why wahsing machines are being looked into. This isn’t just for the home either; many companies are looking for greener commercial washing machine and commercial dishwashers.

So is the washing machine set to be replaced by a newer piece of technolgy or will they stick around forever? 2030 sees the year in which many people are going to be looking into getting brand new washing machines. They say that everyone will start to buy something that is known as a ultrasonic washing machine. What exactly is this ultrasonic washing machine?

Well they are set to be run with hardly any water at all with water being needed just at the start. The reason water is used in a washing machine is because it takes a lot of water to get the detergent off of the clothes. The new ultasonic machines will actually send out sound waves onto the clothes at a very powerful speed which in turn rips the detergant away from the clothes. It is unclear if this method is going to be suitable for all types of clothes or just the ones that can survive a bit of a beating.

If you think this idea is brand new it really isnt but was laughed at in the 80s. However with energy prices soaring through the roof and the worlds resources looking very thing, companies are looking for solutions like this to have in their commercial laundry equipment.

It is also said that the spin on these washing machines will be strong enough to power things like the dishwasher and that our future showers will be powered by recycled rainwater. Surely the water pumped into them is already just recycled rainwater but water that has gone through various testing stages?

Is this really likely to takeover from the washing machine?

The Canadians use submarines to chart the Arctic

Amazingly the Canadians have recently secured a piece of technology which no other country in the world currently owns. Submarines operated by remote control are something new to the world and essentially they are submarines which do not need to be manned to operate. This is an excellent idea as oxygen does not need to be provided for anything and the submarine can be controlled at a base where a lot of people can see exactly what is going on.

This has come into the equation because many countries are in argument over who has access to the Arctic. The argument of course includes Canada as well as USA, Russia, Norway and Denmark. Primarily the only thing they are arguing over is oil. Ice around the Arctic has slowly been melting away due to the effects of global warming, leaving previous areas where nothing could venture into, more accessible. This of course means that there is more than likely going to be some untapped natural resources down there that the arguing countries want to snap up for themselves.

The oil giant USA is obviously going to be involved in this as their oils supplies are running extremely low and need to find other means to supply the country with electricity before time runs out. Of course oil would provide the USA with more time to look at new ways of making electricity, which of course is why they are so interested in it. Probably the real reason is more likely to be that USA are absolutely power hungry and simply want more money. Take the Iraq war as an example, was it not just a failed attempt to get at Iraq’s oil supplies?

Of course Canada itself is a marvellous place to visit so why not take an Alaskan cruise and jet off on one of those Canada tours today. There may be more in your holidays to Canada than you might first think
